Judging panel announced for Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2007 Contest

(Toronto) — Organizers are pleased to announce the panel of judges for the Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2007 contest, which will take place Sat, Jun 9 in Toronto, Canada. Members of the panel are:

  • Master Kalan, International LeatherSIR 2006
  • Don Leach, Great Lakes LeatherSIR 2002
  • Ron “cub” Tummon, Bootblack Toronto 2005 & President of Toronto boys of Leather (TboL)
  • Sir Franco, Eastern Canada LeatherSIR 2006
  • Boy Jason, Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2006


Returning a third year as tallymaster will be Matt Pavelich of Toronto, a gay press journalist.

The Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest is open to leathermen from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Contestants will vie for the regional titles and the chance to advance to compete at the International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest in Dallas, Texas in October (the Canadian Thanksgiving/US Columbus Day long weekend).

The theme for this year’s contest is Edge Play. The contest emcee will be Tom Stice, International slave 1995 and Southeast Mr. Drummer 1998.

This year marks the fifth annual contest. Since, 2005 the contest weekend has been produced by Brandon Matheson (Eastern Canada LeatherSIR 2004) and Dan Falkenham (Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2004).
