ECLSb Sirs & boys Speak Out

A podcast interview with Eastern Canada titleholders and producers

It’s been quite a year for Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy. The contest has been growing and in San Francisco in October the Eastern Canada regional titleholders claimed the International LeatherSIR and International Leatherboy titles; a first for Canadians and the first time the two titles have be won outside the United States. Sir Dart, of Dart’s Domain, sat down with regional producers Brandon Matheson and Dan Falkenham, and International LeatherSIR 2009 Tony Palazzo and International Leatherboy 2009 Brad Hill for a wide-ranging conversation about the history and direction of the players titles, and their anecdotes and observations about the leather community. Master Konrad joins the Executive Board of ILSb/ICBB

Leather Heritage Productions LLC aka International LeatherSIR, Leatherboy and Community Bootblack (ILSb/ICBB) is very pleased to announce that Master Konrad has joined the Executive Board and Production team of ILSb/ICBB effective immediately.

Master Konrad brings many years of experience and community involvement to the organization including; Former Executive Director – MAsT, Judge at numerous events including South Plains Leatherfest, Great Plains Olympus, Beyond Leather, Florida Fetish and Presented at various events including; Leather Leadership Conference, Folsom Fringe, SPLF, ILSb, Thunder in the Mountains, Southwest Leather Conference, Southeast Leatherfest, Beyond Leather, Tribal Fire, Rio Grande Leather, Florida Fetish, Kinky College, Sinsations, San Diego Leather and Sagacity.

Master Konrad runs a law office in the American SW, his practice centers on large case criminal defense and litigation where he has successfully represented clients charged with everything from low level misdemeanors to murder cases and litigated against some of the largest business entities in the country. He has been an advocate for sexual expression and sex industry workers and has represented commercial dungeons, massage and out call services and sex/social clubs, and clients in thousands of sex related cases.

The goal of ILSb/ICBB is to produce an event and Titleholders who cater to and support the heavy players in the Men’s Leather community. Along with Executive Producer Mark Frazier, Executive Co-Producers; Randal Kinnear, Master Olivier Pratt, Bill Hoeppner, Sir Jack Pearce and Sir Don, Master Konrad makes an excellent addition to a strong cohesive production team.

International LeatherSIR, Leatherboy and Community Bootblack are produced annually in San Francisco, California, carrying on with the long traditions of Drummer. ILSb/ICBB encourages each Leather person to march to the beat of their own drum, celebrating their Play, Sexuality and Community involvement.

This year’s event will be held in San Francisco, CA during Dore Alley, July 22-25th, 2010. Event line-up for ECLSb Contest Weekend

The Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2010 contest weekend will run Friday, February 12 through Monday, February 15 (a civic long weekend in Ontario). The weekend will include a busy roster of five events involving three leather organizations. The Presenting Sponsor of the ECLSb contest weekend is Steamworks, the official bathhouse of Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2010.

Call for Contestants!

Contestant registration for the 2010 Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy (ECLSb) contest is now open.

Even though you or someone you know might not yet be ready to commit, anyone whose curiosity about competing is piqued, is encouraged to contact the contest producers (see below) with questions and comments.

The ECLSb contest will take place Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Toronto. It’s the main event of the contest weekend which runs Friday, February 12 through Monday, February 15 (the ‘Family Day’ holiday in Ontario).

The contest is open to leathermen and leatherboys from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Note, this is not a couples contest; contestants compete individually for each title.

Deadline for registering as a contestant is Monday, February 1. Registration forms will be available for download soon on LeatherSIR Canada.

Since 2005, Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest weekend has been produced by Brandon Matheson (EC LeatherSIR 2004) and Dan Falkenham (EC Leatherboy 2004). To enter as a contestant or for more information, email Brandon@LeatherSirCanada.com or call 416-731-1592.
